After the largest number of pro cars ever had turned up for Saturday's Test Day many teams spent much of Saturday night working on their cars, trying to get them ready again for Sunday. Kevin Huntley and Greg Buccheri both missed the first session after late nights but managed to make it for the 2nd and 3rd respectively. In all 22 of the 28 entered cars managed to make it to the Pod and put in qualifying runs, the bump spot for the 16 car eliminator was 11.588s.
The first round of qualifying set the standard for the rest of the day with 5 cars running into the 9's including, Tim Webster, Ross Juniper, Simon Norris, Andy Forrest and Dee Ireland. Unfortunately the first round of qualifying was the last for Mikee Singh who went out with a broken manifold.
Eight cars in total ran 9's on the day with Paul Blamire joining the club in the quarter finals as he resisted the chance to take his by run easy. Andy Barnes went out again after being eliminated and ran 9.851s at 138.03 mph. The eighth 9 second car was actually in RWYB, Mark Biggers ran 9.939s at 144.19mph in his Nissan Skyline, expect to see him running with the pros next year.

4WD/RWD Round 1
The top three alternates all got a second chance as damage sustained during the last qualifying round prevented cars from making it out for the first round of eliminations. James Willday replaced Andy Forrest who tragically couldn't get his Subaru Impreza out again after putting in three mid 9 second runs and qualifying second. Jonny McKeon replaced Mick Begley who had battled with mechanical problems for two days and had qualified 10th. Nick Evans Skyline replaced Rocket Ronnie's Evo.
In the first pairing Tony Charles never had a chance in his Celica as Tim Webster decided now was the time to run Europe's first ever FWD 8 second quarter mile. The second pair was more of a contest with Barrie Rycroft knocking out the defending champion from June Kevin Huntley. In pair 3 Gary Passingham red lighted allowing Simon Norris to take the win with a 16s run. Ross Juniper ran a 9.386 to beat John Bradshaw and smash his own European Mazda record. Next up two alternates and Nick Evans got the better of James Willday. Steve Whittaker beat the other alternate Jonny McKeown. The penultimate pair saw two of the big names in Jap racing go head to head and promptly saw both number 3 qualifier Dee Ireland and Andy Barnes brake down and go out of the competition. The last pair was a close one with Paul Blamire taking the win over Adrian Smith.
4WD/RWD Quarter Finals
In the first quarter final Tim Webster slipped back into the nines but still tock an easy win over Barrie Rycroft. Simon Norris beat Ross Juniper who could not repeat his first round performance. Steve Whittaker's Supra knocked out the Skyline of Nick Evans, before Paul Blamire ran 9.795 in his Impreza despite having no competition.
4WD/RWD Semi Finals
Simon Norris failed to make the first semi final so Tim Webster took the opportunity to take it easy and save the Skyline for the final. The second semi was very close with Steve Whittaker taking the win despite running a slower time due to Paul Blamire's considerable less than perfect reaction time.
4WD/RWD Finals
The final of the 4WD/RWD Do-Luck Pro Shootout saw Tim Webster saving the best till last and breaking the European record for the fourth time as he ran 8.808 seconds to beat the Supra of Steve Whittaker.
